Hi Everyone!
My name is James, and I am from Waterford City in Ireland. I’m a primary school teacher based in the seaside town of Tramore in County Waterford, and I have been teaching for the past seven years.
I am very passionate about fitness and love staying active. If I am not in the gym, you will probably find me running, swimming, or out walking my dog, Bruno. I am also a musician and spend a lot of time practicing both the bagpipes and the uilleann pipes. Over the years, I have been lucky enough to win several All-Ireland titles, and in 2025, I achieved a world title as well.
I have a huge love for GAA and really enjoy coaching and training the teams at my school. Being involved in sport and music has always been a big part of my life, and I love sharing that passion with others.
My journey with the Irish Life Experience began back in 2014 with my friend Eddie, and it has been an incredible part of my life ever since. I truly enjoy seeing students experience Irish culture, step outside their comfort zones, and form lifelong friendships along the way. Every summer brings new memories, and I have certainly collected plenty of great stories over the years!
Fun fact: I am a big fan of coffee and saunas, and I love traveling around Ireland in search of the best spots for both. Can you guess my coffee order?
