Hello, I’m Johanna!

I live in a small town just south of Chicago and I am about to start my last year of high school.  Ireland and Irish culture has always been a huge part of my life, and I was lucky enough to receive a scholarship to go on the ILE, this past summer.  The ILE was one of the best experiences of my life and I will never forget it.  I was a bit nervous before I left, but once I got there, everyone was so kind and welcoming, especially the ILE Staff. Once you get to Logan Airport, you already start making friendships for life.  Ireland is so beautiful and traveling with the ILE really makes it so much more special.  Ireland was like a piece of heaven on earth.  I could talk about the ILE all day if you wanted me to! 

So I encourage you to join the ILE before it is too late and make so many beautiful memories like I did!
